Great matcha starts with careful sourcing.
Finding the right matcha took time. We worked closely with our Japanese supplier, tasting and evaluating multiple blends before settling on the one that best suited what we wanted to serve at Rakia — a ceremonial-grade matcha with the balance, depth, and smoothness we were looking for.
Once we found it, freshness became the priority. Our matcha is stone-milled to order in Japan, then express-shipped to us under carefully managed conditions to preserve its vibrant color, delicate aroma, and clean flavor.
From the moment it's milled to the moment it's whisked into your cup, we keep the time between as short as possible.
